Artistic Direction
With the Muovileidee Cultural Association, Susanna curates the artistic direction of several music festivals and cultural projects, including:
Piccolo Flaiano in Jazz — Teatro Flaiano, Rome
Jazz For Children — Auditorium Parco della Musica, Rome
IncontrInjazz — six editions across Tuscania, Montalto di Castro, Viterbo, Bolsena, Fabrica di Roma, and Rome (Museo Archeologico Villa Giulia, Palazzo Merulana)
Jazz al V° — Rome (concerts and lecture-concerts)
Da Donna a Donna — four editions, in collaboration with ABC for the Province of Rome
Diva's Jazz Festival— now in its 8th edition (2026), dedicated to women musicians, born within Rome's Casa Internazionale delle Donne and continuing at the La Vaccheria museum space
Since June 2024, Susanna has also been President of Midj, the Italian Jazz Musicians Association.
A duo project with guitarist Claudio Farinone (classical and baritone guitar), bringing together the written and sung word in an intimate, tone-driven exploration through the language of jazz — blending composition and improvisation with an aesthetic rooted in essentiality. The repertoire spans poems by Alda Merini, Emily Dickinson and Patrizia Cavalli, original compositions set to their own lyrics, and celebrated songs of strong literary value.
V.O.P.P. — Vocal Open Portal Project
A vocal improvisation ensemble with Daphne Nisi, Cristina D'Arcangelo and Chiara Cortez, exploring collective improvisation and CircleSongs — a participatory format where the audience joins the circle and becomes part of the musical creation itself.
